Qi2, developed by the WPC Wireless Power Consortium in 2023, represents an advanced and improved wireless charging standard that will replace its predecessor, Qi, in the rapidly expanding wireless charging market. With the release of the iPhone 15 series models at the Fall 2023 Apple conference, encryption will no longer be required, allowing chargers certified with Qi2 to be fully compatible with 15W charging for iPhones. 1) Qi2-EPP Tx Authentication:

Products support 8W, 12W, 15W power, using Qi EPP protocol, must be EPP Tx certification.

2) Qi2-MPP Tx Authentication:

The product supports 15W power, uses Qi MPP protocol, and must be MPP Tx certified.

Note: BPP Tx products are not available separately in Qi2.

4.3 WPC Membership Fee and Product Certification Fee for 2024 (effective January 1, 2024)

WPC membership has been reduced to two categories: Regular members and Adopters.

- Regular Membership: $20,000 / year regular membership fee and $10,000 / year mandatory ecosystem fee (total $30,000)

The optional second ecosystem fee is $10,000 (if selected, the total fee reaches $40,000)

- Adopter: The application membership fee is $18,000 / year
