1.What’s Apple Find My?

Apple has introduced the AirTag Bluetooth locator since 2021, followed by a feature called the Find My Network Accessory Program, and allows third parties to integrate Find My Network into their products. Find My Network" products help locate Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, iMac, etc.) by surrounding them. The equivalent of a small radar for the world's one billion Apple devices, it enables low-cost global positioning through the use of Bluetooth wireless technology and "Find My Network," detecting lost devices or items in the vicinity and reporting their approximate location to the owner. Meanwhile, the entire process is encrypted and anonymized end-to-end, so no one else, not even Apple or a third-party manufacturer, can view the location or information on a tethered device, thus protecting user privacy and security. 

After Apple opened Find My Network, MFi factories in Apple's supply chain, as well as a large number of brands launched a lot of cell phone accessories supporting Find My Network, and achieved rapid development in the market of network positioning products, and Apple Find My Network has become the hottest innovative object-finding technology nowadays.

As the Find My Network ecosystem grows day by day, Nordic and other domestic chips are also actively deployed and planned in this direction, and launched the corresponding chip solutions, have joined the Apple Find My ecosystem.

According to media reports, the scale of the relevant search technology is expected to reach 6.6 billion U.S. dollars in 2027, with a compound annual growth rate of 11.3%, this market is very large. At the same time, The market for charging head products is nearly saturated and gradually being phased out, and if the relevant manufacturers are interested in finding new growth points, Find My is a circle-breaking project.

2.Application of Apple Find My Network in Real Life

Products that support Apple Find My Network include two main types, one that integrates functionality inside end products such as electronic devices, medical equipment, sports equipment, etc.; and the other is a stand-alone tracker, such as AirTag, that locates and tracks items by placing them inside, for example, personal belongings, clothing, backpacks, and travel gear.

1.1Find My Network can be used to quickly obtain the location of a lost device by using the "Find My" app to make the device emit sound. 

1.2Long-distance search can obtain the location information of the lost device through the map on the APP, the main principle is that the lost device sends out a Bluetooth broadcast, and the nearby Apple devices will encrypt and upload the broadcast to Apple's server, and then the owner can obtain the information through the APP. 

1.3The last one is to turn on the lost mode through APP, when the lost item enters the Bluetooth range or is located by the huge Find My Network, the owner will receive timely reminder notification, and at the same time, through the settings, it can also be realized to obtain the owner's reserved information when using the cell phone that supports NFC function to touch the lost device. 

There are many types of products that can be equipped with Find My Network technology, involving all aspects of people's lives, as the following examples. But Apple does not allow the product to be used to locate biological accessories such as humans or pets.
